Top Private Companies in Colorado
Grand Junction private companies in the spotlight:
FCI Constructors is once again tops on a list of Western Slope businesses that rank among the top 250 privately owned companies in Colorado. FCI Constructors moved up eight spots to 13th in the 2015 list compiled by ColoradoBiz magazine. The 2015 rankings are based on self-reported gross revenues for 2014. Companies must be headquartered in Colorado to be placed on the list. FCI Constructors reported revenues of more than $308 million, a 33 percent increase over the previous year. The company employs 335 people.
Shaw Construction moved up four spots to 21st on the list with revenues of nearly $188 million. Shaw Construction is a Denver based firm with operations in Grand Junction,
Alpine Bank moved up one place to 30th with revenues of more than $114 million. Alpine’s headquarters are in Glenwood Springs, and the bank has 38 locations across Colorado.
Geostabilization International, a hazard mitigation firm based in Grand Junction, slipped one spot to 47th on the list with revenues of $62 million.
Frank Henry Equipment, a Fruita company that supplies equipment to the oil and natural gas industry, jumped 25 spots to 69th in the rankings with revenues of nearly $33.3 million.
Dalby, Wendland & Co., a public accounting and business consulting firm based in Grand Junction moved up 16 spots to 96th with revenues of $16.8 million.
Action Publishing, a Grand Junction company that manufactures day planners, calendars and other accessories, moved up 15 spots to 200th with revenues of $3.2 million.
Revel Interactive, a digital marketing firm in Grand Junction, is new to the list at 233rd with reported revenues of more than $1.7 million.
