Summer Hill is one of the most popular “Lock and Leave” communities in the North area. The community was started in the early 2000’s as townhomes. Today, Summer Hill homes are stand alone single family homes on smaller lots with the HOA taking care of all the front yard maintenance.
Porter Homes took over as the builder about a year ago and since then sales have taken off. Porter Homes under the guidance of Nate Porter has a reputation for upscale custom homes mostly in the Redlands area. Porter offers 3 floor plans than can be modified in any manner and will also design a floor plan for you. Current floor plan sizes range from 1820 to 2285 with two car garages. A third tandem garage is possible depending on the lot.
Every aspect of Porter’s Summer Hill homes are customizable including number of bedrooms and bathrooms, windows, doors, plumbing, lighting, cabinetry etc. There are four homes under construction and all of them have been sold. I anticipate a new spec home to be started soon as the demand is so great.
