The Monument Connector Trail connects Las Colonias, Aububon Trail, Connected Lakes and downtown Grand Junction to the Lunch Loops and Three Sisters open space.
The Chain Breaking" dedication event is set for February 20, 2020 at the Lunch Loop Trailhead parking lot off of Monument Road, 2457 Monument Road.
The project now links some of the Grand Valley's most popular amenities and neighborhoods to the mountain biker community favorite trail, Lunch Loops. Residents and visitors now have a safe path to all of the premier outdoor recreation destination
Most of the project costs was covered by grant dollars.
